Born and raised in Campbell River B.C., I started fishing the local area at a very, very young age. My father was a Campbell River fishing guide in the 1960’s so I was catching my limit of Salmon at the age of 4 (With lots of help from my Mom and Dad of course). I started guiding for The Dolphins Resort in 1972 when I was 14 years old and by the time I was 18 years old I had 1000s of hours of guiding under my belt and had successfully guided clients who caught Salmon as big as 54 1/2 pounds. I fished for over 20 years as a Dolphins resort guide before starting my own independent business. I am a member of the Tyee Club of British Columbia having rowed and registered many 30 lb fish for my guests under club rules. I have vast Knowledge of the local waters and tides plus my enthusiasm is the same today as it was 44 years ago. I am one of the Most experienced Professional fishing guides on the coast and along with my wife Roberta, I invite you and welcome you to fish with my Fishing Charter company Peniuk’s Sportfishing in Campbell River.
“We have been fishing with Brant Peniuk as our guide, going on our 6th year this August. Always a great time. He’s very knowledgeable of the area, and the fishing cycles, always catching our limits.” BB /2015
“Brant was an awesome fishing guide on our recent family vacation to Campbell River, BC. Although my husband has been salmon fishing several times, this was a first for our 3 daughters (ages 19, 17, 15) and me. Brandt put us all right at ease. He was prompt and his boat and fishing gear were clean and well cared for. He was patient, encouraging, and safety conscious. Most importantly, we caught an abundance of fish! I know there are many factors, including luck, that go into a successful fishing adventure, but I have to give Brandt his credit—he was doing something, or many things right. He worked hard to make the whole day fun and leisurely. We hope to return again next year and will keep our fingers crossed that he is available to guide for us again.” J.K./2015
